You are cordially invited to an evening of art song and instrumental music by Daniel Felsenfeld, Cashel Day-Lewis, and Liam Cummins.
Featuring soprano Britt Hewitt and pianist Andrea Christie, the program highlights two new song cycles by Day-Lewis and Felsenfeld, both set to T.S. Eliot’s “Preludes.” The program also features a new work for cello and piano by Liam Cummins which meditates on the act of finding one’s own compositional style and which will be performed by the composer alongside cellist Lila Holyoke.
Program:
Felsenfeld - Burnt Out Ends, four songs for soprano and piano (2026)*
Felsenfeld - Hapless songs (2024)
Cummins - duo for cello and piano
Day-Lewis - And Then the Lighting of the Lamps, four songs for soprano and piano (2025)*
